This allows one, in particular, to construct genus two solutions of the Boussinesq hierarchy of integrable partial differential equations. The representation theory gives one a way of deriving and classifying all such relations and will hopefully provide a machine that can, for arbitrary genus, replace the somewhat ad hoc methods of singularity expansions with a systematic algorithm.
